Incubating Shipped Silkie Eggs

Pics
Day 17
Had another quick candle before lockdown tomorrow, cracked open egg 4 to find nothing but a yolk (I’m glad it was just a yolk and no dead chick)
I have a Bit of a worry though..
In a couple of the eggs I can see the chick moving around
In a lot of them though I don’t seem to see them moving, I am just using a phone torch which could be why, but should I be seeing movement?
The air cells seem fine, temps and humidity has been consistent. I just see huge darkness with some veins at the bottom.
Could I be overthinking?

I would just wait and see, I also couldn't see movement in mine at that stage. Think good thoughts and hopefully in a few days some chickies 🤗

Think about it, at this stage they are really cramped in the egg so movement is limited. I don’t know how many times I’ve had eggs hatch that the last time I candled they were not moving. So take a deep breath, sit on your hands, and prep the brooder!😊

Thankyou, I’ve took the dividers out and raised the humidity. Today I will prep the brooder, really hope everything goes well 🤞🏻

First Pip End of Day 19 😊
