Hoping someone can answer this question. Our pipes froze and broke. I had eggs in both my incubator and hatcher. They are using big commercial dryers and dehumidifiers. Do my eggs have a chance of hatching? It is so dry in the house. They are still reading the right humidity, but no pipping on day 20.

not if they are still reading the correct humidity and they had been calibrated, should be fine.

sorry about the pipes, what a time I bet your having, so sorry

Ok! I am back with a picture of the brinsea manual page regarding cooling. What do you think @sallysunshine?
400

I realize it is hard to see the image. It says to do the cool down days 7 to 19. 2 hours. It seems like a long time. I know my broody can do 30min at a time and the eggs are ok. The minimum time is 60min I believe.....

Lockdown is the last few days of incubation when you stop turning.

It's very essential because the chick has to position itself into hatching position.

Humidity comes up at this time also, to assist in hatching.

Oh ok well thank you. How often do you turn I've heard a bunch of different suggestions
