What is "lock down" I keep hearing? I'm about to start construction on my first incubator and I'm researching like a champ haha

Lockdown is the last few days of incubation when you stop turning.

It's very essential because the chick has to position itself into hatching position.

Humidity comes up at this time also, to assist in hatching.

alright yall so i have my chickens in chain link dog pens, (no coops) with dog houses as shelter in all pens including breeding, grow out, etc. for this year i am wanting to come up with some new shelter, possibly like a mini coop in each pen (the minimum pen is a 5'x5') that i am able to open from the top and keep shavings in but keep close to the ground and look good. anybody got any ideas or examples they can show me that would be lovely
