Extra boys. Wanted to get them when they were still young enough to be roasting birds instead of stew birds. End of summer will have a bunch more to do as well.

Dual purpose birds if you want them tender most people will do them between 16-20 weeks. Rainbows and Red Rangers I think most people will do them between 12-14 weeks.

Same thing in my opinion. Although I usually skin pheasant. If you scald the bird beforehand plucking is just as easy.
