Were they specifically meat birds or just had extra boys out of the hatch?
Dual purpose birds if you want them tender most people will do them between 16-20 weeks. Rainbows and Red Rangers I think most people will do them between 12-14 weeks.When do you guys process dual or meat birds like rainbows and red rangers?
Extra boys. Wanted to get them when they were still young enough to be roasting birds instead of stew birds. End of summer will have a bunch more to do as well.
Same thing in my opinion. Although I usually skin pheasant. If you scald the bird beforehand plucking is just as easy.Good deal. was just curious. Need to spend some time on the processing thread. Somewhat close to dressing a pheasant?
