I thought red rangers were supposed to be more active than that?

Only time I saw them active was when I brought out corn. They taught my silkies to be lazy . They lay under the porch in the shade with the reds. Since then I've chased the silkies to get them up and moving again.

Actually no. But the ones that hung with the reds are mixes. That may help. Oh, my gay silkie roo now swings both ways. Starting to take an interest in the ladies too.

Ok question! I have a bunch of different eggs going in tomorrow to the hatcher and there are 3 clutches and I need to separate them.. How do you all separate your hatchets such that they aren't compromising the hatcher but the eggs hatch and the chicks stay in various places until they're removed..

Dollar Store baskets is what I've seen used in the past. Haven't tried it myself but seen others post it. Just make sure whatever you use doesn't compromise ventilation.

How long has he been playing for the other team?

Almost a year I think. But he's been messing with the ladies now for a few weeks. You know he may still be just gay. All I've seen him do is chase the hen down and grab her neck. Then he pecks her and looks at her. Maybe he's just jealous over the other roo? He still makes a good mom though.
