First ever hatch was huge success. 24 quail eggs and most hatched already. 10-12 hrs early.

I feel like giving a red carpet speach to thank everyone that wrote the countless articles I read to make this first hatch so successful.

Hello,this is my first hatch in over20some years. I have one hatched out other two are working on it. All born may 24i have a large plastic tote with wood shavings in it small feeder Di

sh and water with stones in it so they done drawn. I have light attached going get red heat light bulb in a few. So how long does heat lamp stay on chicks 24/7 for how long two weeks three? They will stay in house till much bigger. Because of snakes.and temp

Serama hatched, half are dead, Husband seemed to NOT listen when I asked that he be sure the new brooder babies have water and feed while I was down and out, All the tiny ones died within two days... ughhhh this is whats left, the tiny but not as tiny as her whites pen

That's what I thought!!! Aint gonna be no chicks smothering on my watch!! The actual holes are 1/4 inch, the light is where I cut the liner away so air could escape. -Banti
