Just because it has no fat doesn't mean it's bloody tasting. I'd take venison (I cleaned) over beef any day. We go through probably about 6 deer a year if I can get them.

For a man of your culinary tastes it is hard to believe. It is a very lean and clean meat.

I love it. I need to hunt again, buy I have so much meat I feel bad. I would rather trade a hunter for some of my home grown beef, but I have not found one to trade with.
