My attempt at getting the heat up in the brooder; hasn't helped much. Still can't get it out of the mid-80's,
according to the thermometer I never thought to calibrate.

Not the best picture I've ever taken. Still in the 'bator, prior to the latest two to hatch. Actually have a picture of all 5 so far, but it's disappeared somewhere.



This is the one that I couldn't find. The single black & 5 yellows; 1 w/the black spot mid-back & another w/several smaller black spots further forward, which may be discernible if blown up.

I don't have it so I am unsure. I know we got some in some hay and we had to watch for them getting stuck in the horses mouth causing problems. Sorry I don't know more. Maybe someone knows is it @LocalYokel that has goats?

Morning Dax another goat question. I have fox tail here. Is it ok for them to eat that. I know some animals can't or shouldn't and was wondering about the goats

Foxtail won't hurt goats, but GOOD luck getting them to clear it for ya!

Good morning everyone!!!

Morning how's the weather where your at?
Any chicks hatching

Weather is nice and warm here going to spend time with the family today so it will be fun. Yes just hatched 52 from Saturday to today but one didn't make it and still have a few eggs in the incubator with pips.

Congrats on the pips and sips Banti!!!! I had a hatch of 80 eggs start on Saturday that is just finishing up still have about 5 pips

So was it a good hatch? Congratulations!

It's good so far still in progress though will probably check them all tonight.
