Not the seed head, particularly when dried. The sharp seeds can embed in the gums and cause abscesses.

Weather is nice and warm here going to spend time with the family today so it will be fun. Yes just hatched 52 from Saturday to today but one didn't make it and still have a few eggs in the incubator with pips.
It's good so far still in progress though will probably check them all tonight.

I do sell chicks, I have Rhodebars, English Lavender Orpingtons, light Brahma's and then some barnyard mixes from my mixed flock.

Taking a break for lunch and rewatching the documentary "Particle Fever" on Netflix (SO well done). And I've been listening to Neil deGrasse Tyson's podcast Star Talk while doing chicken chores. So I suppose the theme for the weekend is particle physics.

I guess it's not such a stretch, since in the building of the LHC, CERN invented the internet, which allows me to be here talking about BURDS with WEBZ with you all!
