I agree can you gently massage it>?I finally got the pasty butts cleaned! I did trim some bottom fluff as well. I have notice that one of them has a really hard time pooping. I can see the vent protrude and can tell it is pushing hard and if anything comes out, it is a greenish black log. Anyone know what's up with that?
pretty eggie!!!Not getting enough water?? I know babies first poops are blackish green and like tar....not sure if it works on chicks but a little tummy massage works wonders on kittens and babies IME.
And here is Sexy's egg. She has the most wonderfully thick bloom on all her eggs! If you wash them, they become a dark brown.

yes legbar are but not the mixes@Sally Sunshine My chicks are suuuuuper skiddish. Is that a normal personality trait for these varieties? They must think I am medusa come to eat their little selves up! LOL.![]()
whoda thunk!!! ha ha haI may be joining the new years HAL after all..... oh no! Hahahahaha
oh no MC!!! I ordered two and they still arent here!!!Forget the eggs, I wish the post office could stop ruining my mail! Torn envelopes, destroyed packages that were crammed into the P.O. box, even the gift box for one of my gifts.
Then I went shopping in the mall, K-Mart and Walmart with a toddler and her anxious father. Ohhhhh my! No nap for her, and she was crammed in a cart. He got ticked every time her shoe fell off (not a single person here with children is a stranger to missing shoes and socks in the store). The check out woman was in a mood, and my bread got crushed along with my bananas (banana bread, here we come!).
And who puts diced carrots and sweet potatoes in a bag full of candy? I am so glad I looked, because I never would have missed them!
I did buy two more thermometers. I haven't hatched in a few years, and I am growing paranoid about these duck eggs.
