Did you get your incubator lined out??? I took some pics just for you of temp gauges in on of my cabinets to show you what a good thermometer will do. Are you ready to deer hunt?

ready as I'll ever be.I am leAving it plugged an the temp on the thermometer at 106 to 108.don't freak its only 102 in the bator.

There's also the INLAND Northwest. Eastern side of Washington is no coast, and only a couple of storms. But the (occasional) snow. Because when it snows, it really snows lol. Then it melts and repeats...


Trail of feed?... maybe squirrel with a hole in their cheek? Mice fetching the chickens a midnight snack?

Not unless squirrels have gone nocturnal. Besides, a squirrel would have to be big as a Maine Coon cat to leave a trail that wide.

That thermos could read 513 degrees and I could care less as long as you know to offset 412 degrees and the actual temp is in the 101 range. Make sense? I just want to hear actual.

Forget the eggs, I wish the post office could stop ruining my mail! Torn envelopes, destroyed packages that were crammed into the P.O. box, even the gift box for one of my gifts.
Then I went shopping in the mall, K-Mart and Walmart with a toddler and her anxious father. Ohhhhh my! No nap for her, and she was crammed in a cart. He got ticked every time her shoe fell off (not a single person here with children is a stranger to missing shoes and socks in the store). The check out woman was in a mood, and my bread got crushed along with my bananas (banana bread, here we come!).
And who puts diced carrots and sweet potatoes in a bag full of candy? I am so glad I looked, because I never would have missed them!
I did buy two more thermometers. I haven't hatched in a few years, and I am growing paranoid about these duck eggs.
