We have one around here sometimes, it looks like a ton of fun!
the most exercise i get is hay season, this year we are planning on doing 3-5000 bales (dependent on weather) in one cutting, over the course of multiple days/weekends

That'll do it as well. slinging hay bales is a good workout also.

I agree, it takes ne some ouers to cool down, but love it, you realy feel that you did somthing there!

I felt like I did something for a few days after. and that was supposed to be the beginner class.

Need to head over to the Cochin thread and do some research but will ask the question here also. Is it possible to determine adult color at hatch. The 30 Cochin eggs I have hatching were assorted colors and I don't know what the possible colors were. Curious if it could be determined or not in case I decide to keep some of them.

I think that the white - yellow chick
Partridge - brown chicks
Barred - black with some spots on tge head, you can Identify
