Yeah but uh,they had cool Indians to play with at that time&learn to plant corn no fair. Plus they could hunt buffalo,,,wahhh I wanna hunt a buffalo mc. Or they got to do all that cool beading stuff. Now it's $15at Wal-Mart(if u live thru black friday) for a sewing kit that once you get home&open it says(yarn not included) just great "ok wild kratts time guys" tv on,subliminal messages 'I want Snickers I want Snickers must consume snickers' ugh.

I agree with that, and I'm sorry if I came across as "phones are evil and you shouldn't let your kid have them". That wasn't my intention!! I agree, they are wonderful babysitters for when you need them, I just used that waiting room idea as an example of something I see in other situations like when having others over to visit. It is hard to have a conversation when the other person is staring at their phone. Sorry!

well I resemble that, and I started luke on the desktop with kids learning games at 2 as soon as he could comprehend the mouse, and he is very smart about some things that will be very important in their gen at some time. HOWEVER, my kids are also outdoorsy kids and also play reg board games and have some very good imaginations. 

That's what I was trying to say, sorry y'all..... I meant that more balance is needed.....
