what is with them wanting to hold the birds?
i mean dont get me wrong i want to as well -but each bird does NOT need a hug

haven't got to that stage yet, she'll single one out once in a while and follow it but has more interest in exploring. Already working on teaching her they are meat. So helpful she doesn't want to hug them.

my daughter corners them, she is very devious and meticulous in her planning of how she will catch them, usually she tries to force them into the hay where they cant get away. shes the devil

The littles that they can catch have a huge run that they can get away in, plus they usually hide underneath the jagger bushes.

we dont hide the death from her, she has been through it enough that it doesnt really phase her much, it just makes her want to get more of them
