[@=/u/162672/Sally-Sunshine]@Sally Sunshine[/@], Corid treatment is 5-7 days at 0.024%, then 7-14 days at 0.006%. I think that was what Ron was saying. I know there are many posts thar say "5 days", and that might work, but the FDA and the mfg recommend the the 5-7, then 7-14.

0.024% = 240 mg per liter

0.006% = 60 mg per liter

On mobile now, will explain more later.

no what I ment was I asked him in pm he said he returned the corid, he called them and they told him its not safe for chickens, so thats why I got confused.  I guess he dont want slack so we leave it as it is.

Okay, now I am confused, because didn't he tell banty that he used the Corid?

So is AP flour is gluten free. Would it work without gluten.
AP flour is not gluten free.

Gluten is Good! Unless you have Celiac disease. The Gluten Free fad is quickly fading away as research debunks it. Some people my be sensitive to wheat because of the way it has been changed but that is not gluten and Organic wheat is usually fine for them.

Gluten is used to make meat substitutes for vegetarians.

Quote: Did you ever use the thermometer like I said - internal temp over 195F before it's ready, and you HAVE to let it cool. If it's getting too dark cover it, but don't pull until 195...

@Sally Sunshine - I forgot to ask you - where did you see this? Is this a DIY thing? (I have that exact garden wagon). It would be nice to use for that (whenever I get those goats).

a goat forum Kristin, you can purchase the bar for the bucket and stuff but I would sooner make the wooden one and make it so I could cotter pin it on and remove quickly. Do your sides fold down like that?
Yup - I have that exact wagon...

Quote: Kristin sent me starter and also frozen stuff, I screwed up the first she sent, but I made so many loafs of bread and all screwed up, really really hard outside and yukky middle lol
Did you do it in a dutch oven?

Quote: Ron, I got mine from Breadtopia - I sent her both fresh starter and a bunch of the dry/ground stuff for the freezer, and instructions for the no-knead sourdough from that site (I typed some up for my mother with photos). Sally, you should still have enough of the dry stuff to wake up another batch if you want to try it again...

The GF fad was nice, it raised awareness and now there is SO many more products out there, even compared to just four years ago. :yesss:

It also started price wars, which was great!

The huge bag of chocolate chips don't last long here. I have that with almonds for snacks
