I like the idea. I'd want it higher to milk though.
@mlm Mike a stool wouldnt work?

Seems a little low to me, but mayber for someone short like you. You could measure and see how you'd feel working on something at that height. It wouldn't be difficult to make platform and ramp to adjust to a comfortable height.
LOL yer cute! But I am not going to hand milk remember! I cant for very long, I need a machine. So is it going to matter too much? Cleaning and hooking her up and waiting l?

Tomorrow the kids and I will be making flock blocks, gonna try the microwave cooking of it. Wish us luck!

Yep!!! Hershey's is GF. :yesss:

Really only anything that has wheat, barley/malt, etc is an issue..... Oh, and I do have to get special oatmeal and sometimes cornstarch due to the fact they are grown next to wheat.

But I had to give up Lindt chocolate, because it has malt. THAT WAS TERRIBLE. :hit :hit :hit

We make an almond flour cookie with coconut oil you could get gluten free chocolate chips they are delicious

The cook book we found helpful is called Every Last Crumb which is gluten free if you already haven't used it.

so what do I get?
Bread flour or AP white flour.

The trick is the amount of flour to use. Flour is different in amount to use based on the amount of water it has in it --in the bag! Humidity at your place will change it.

As an example, A recipe that calls for 8 cups of flour here may need 9 to make good dough. At a humid place, it might take 7.

Because of this you cannot go by the number of cups in a recipe for any type of bread. Sourdough is trickier because it will always be sticky. It is easy to put either too much or too little flour in the dough.

Trick! Bread is cooked when it reaches an internal temperature of 195 to 205---yes, I use a thermometer to cook bread.

I have a HUGE BAG of GF chocolate chips in the pantry.

Yes, there are some really good recipes out there! I make my own flour mixture which is compatible with regular recipes. :yesss:
