Yes! Its hot, Last show it was in the 70s!
Awe!!!!
The chicks are cute too. Does the breeder specialize in them?
Does anyone recommend a certain type of grower feed for ducks? I have been feeding mine Poulin Grain turkey/gamebird grower finisher b/c that's what my local feed store carries, but I believe my ducks need more niacin. Should I just add niacin to their water and feed them the same thing? The chart and the label on the feed I use don't quite match up, though, so I think I should switch ....
Thank you very much Kathy for the chart and info.!
70's is great
Are you showing at the state fair?
I must admit I do look good in red heels. You do have some pretty legs. But my breast is better.
Niacin can be added to water. As long as the current feed has sufficient protein levels you could continue feeding the same thing but supplement the niacin. I feed my ducks and chickens Purina Flock Raiser and haven't had any problems.Does anyone recommend a certain type of grower feed for ducks? I know alot of people use purina flock raiser, but I was reading today about how you shouldn't use feed that is made for lots of types of poultry. Is that right?

Me, too! But today, Josephine was limping and Quackers was walking backwards with her head down and acting drowsy.I admit to being confused. I thought the gamebird was loaded with Niacin. Regardless, I am just using the All Flock Raiser.
I'm kinda fond of the black ones.I must admit I do look good in red heels.

K, thanks. I only have time released niacin right now, so I crushed it with a mortar and pestle. Can I keep doing this or do I need something else? (Sorry for all the non-chick q's on an incubation threadI must admit I do look good in red heels.
