Does anyone recommend a certain type of grower feed for ducks? I have been feeding mine Poulin Grain turkey/gamebird grower finisher b/c that's what my local feed store carries, but I believe my ducks need more niacin. Should I just add niacin to their water and feed them the same thing? The chart and the label on the feed I use don't quite match up, though, so I think I should switch ....
Thank you very much Kathy for the chart and info.!

I admit to being confused. I thought the gamebird was loaded with Niacin. Regardless, I am just using the All Flock Raiser.

You do have some pretty legs. But my breast is better.
I must admit I do look good in red heels.

I know alot of people use purina flock raiser, but I was reading today about how you shouldn't use feed that is made for lots of types of poultry. Is that right?

Niacin can be added to water. As long as the current feed has sufficient protein levels you could continue feeding the same thing but supplement the niacin. I feed my ducks and chickens Purina Flock Raiser and haven't had any problems.

I'm kinda fond of the black ones.

K, thanks. I only have time released niacin right now, so I crushed it with a mortar and pestle. Can I keep doing this or do I need something else? (Sorry for all the non-chick q's on an incubation thread
