I let all 11 of the chicks and keets outside together today (keeping an eye on the temps, of course!) It's so funny how they act to their first trip outside! The 4 big ones have been out before, but the others haven't and were a little confused. Adele doesn't know what to think lol :

Olivia is definitely an Oliver! :(

From left to right: Daisy, Oliver, Sally Ann, and, in the back, Becky. I can't believe I hatched all these! I thought Sally was an RIR/EE but it looks like she's actually a BO/EE.

Yes its gotten a little smaller which is good!

Be careful about giving him anything. He most likely does not have a swallowing reflex yet and anything you give him will just as easily go into his lungs.

I recently had a Serama chick that hatched early because he was upside down. The yolk was absorbed okay but the chick just laid there with his eyes closed for well over 24 hours before he started acting like he was ready to be born. Then he didn't have a feeding response at all. After two days of not eating, I started giving him handfeeding formula for parrots with a syringe. He learned to swallow it. It took about three days of that before he started eating and drinking on his own. Now he's completely normal.
If he is just premature, it may just be a waiting game.

Good luck!
