Okay so my duck hasnt gotten any better still wont open eyes or try to walk its still has a little bit of yolk let to absorb but is there anything i can do for his eyes im scared hes blind or theres another issue that i dont know about. he still wont try to hold his head up he just wants to lay in the fetile position he hatched at about 2:00am early Wednesday morning like i said in my earlier post he did kinda hatch early

that doesnt show his navel, but i still feel that you NEED to do electolytes, and if the yolk is still unabsorbed put it in a dish with wet paper towel, might have to dip the yolk in betadine at some point depending on how long it takes

it will open its eyes once it is ready, dont worry about that right now

have you done electrolytes? you can also do poly-vi-sol for babies but without iron, gatorade, pedialyte, etc

Is it in a teacup with moist paper towel?

did you assist in hatching or was it on its own?

I had to assist it was shrink wrapped and couldnt get out i did do the teacup it didnt like it at all i have tried to drink his bill in a baking soda salt brown sugar water mixter

lol, they hate the tea cup but it keeps them immobilized so that they can absorb the rest of the yolk
keep doing the electrolytes
