Yes, I got girls, but I thought I could make Bubbles work for a girl..... As I recall, there was some kerfuffle a bit ago over whether Bubbles was actually a good name for my roo or if it was too girly.

In a bit, I gotta get a nice enclosure set up for photos first, as of now they are in a macgyvered pen that doesn't look very good......... I wasn't expecting to get them until that morning, so I hadn't set up a quarantine pen. It is a very sturdy pen though, 2 x 4s covered in HWC.
I'm doing things properly this time.... Last time I did no quarantine, I brought poultry lice, MG, roundworms, etc into my flock. Not doing that again! Although..... There is probably not that many more things I could introduce.
Years ending in 1 and 6 get white, years ending in 2 and 7 get yellow, years ending in 3 and 8 get red (I use orange for chickens cause they're easier to read), 4 and 9 are green, 5 and 0 are blue.
That means birds can be 5 years old before they conflict with new birds.
That is true. But I'm not planning on eating any of my current birds that are named..... I have 8 birds that are not named. Those aren't staying after they stop laying.
You don't have to. But these are SQ Sultan hens, which I have wanted for a very long time, and there is no way I am eating them.

That's cool, I'm just messing with you. You do whatever you want with your birds.
cocci hits fast and you should really be prepared..
I gave the B complex shot when I seen the runs, and I do check poo daily, and started Dimethox orally x5 days
and every goat owner said they do every other day the B complex shot so before treatment and day 3 and 5
Obviously works well, she didnt show sickness other than runs and took care of it quickly
Also I am sprinkling this in their feed Probios Dispersible Powder, and they have a small pail of Baking soda and Manna pro Goat mineral powder
I was told BOSS is awesome treat and really helps with their coat. So they get a handful each day. Black oil sunflower seeds http://www.jefferspet.com/products/probios-dispersible-powder
I do keep safeguard on hand, it really handles giardia well
and I did have a litter of pups that got it and it was a lifesaver to have in the fridge Although I use ivermectin for worming, not sure what others use for goats.
