Do you think i should zip it up in a plastic bag or would that damage a potential chick from not getting humidity?

If it's leaking I'd take it out.

Most,of those I've never heard of. A friend of mine has hunting dogs. He spends hundreds if not thousands on this dogs. They always have some sort of allergies, and trips to the vets. I told him to start using Old Roy. The stuff he feeds his dogs is amazing red meat etc.

Most of them weren't sold anywhere except feed stores. All the ones I mentioned were popular with the field trial crowd. One of those "He has a very successful dog that he feeds Brand X feed, so it must be good" deals. Then there was the AKC faction who figured the more it cost the better it was; they fed something like Eukinuba, or some other high-priced spread that their vet was hawking that year; more of a status symbol than anything else.

Yes and isn't the dog show run by Eukinuba. So if your dog doesn't eat their food....
