Quote: The problem I have with dog shows is the dogs from hunting breeds, like Pointers, Setters, German Shorthairs , etc., that the judges are putting up, couldn't smell a game bird if they tripped over it. The show people are breeding for beauty, length of feathering on the legs, gait, and a slew of other criteria that in no way go along with what it takes to enable a good bird dog to perform in the field. Hip dysplasia, for example, in the larger breeds, is all too prevalent in show-bred dogs, but seldom is it a problem in their field-bred cousins. The average show dog of a hunting breed couldn't carry the feed bowl of a field-bred dog of the same breed.

O no the beens aren't from Libya! The preparing way is!
I see now. Here are the last two countries I've tried. Both labels are decaf but we get regular from them as well. So different pots for each variety you do or just how you fix them makes the different?

Hi everyone!!
Heatherfeather - good luck with your broodys!!
I had eggs in my brinsea - I never marked down when I set them. I thought they were due about 10 days ago. I candled them and they weren't ready. I was staying at a friends house the last 3 days - when I got home last night I found one dry and fluffy baby in the turning Brinsea. I set up a lock down bator last week and it was still turned on, so I threw that chick and all the other eggs that were set at the same time over to lock down. I had 2 more hatch about 2 hours ago, but the rest look like they are duds. I'll candle them tonight - just to check.
Ooops!!!
I just closed escrow on the place yesterday, so I'm hoping to file the paperwork for the overlay on Monday!!! I have someone helping me get signatures on a petition to help support my application. I'm getting ready to go talk to the neighbors I know, and see what their thoughts are. I'll know more in about 3 weeks.
Thanks for checking!
Good luck. Hope things work out.
