That is good. I have renewed hope that the mice in the barn/coops are being eaten.
It's amazing that it is so. It must be because you have never met me.

Snakes are better. They're built to be rodent executioners. They work day and night and can squeeze into tight spots where the rodents are and cats can't.

...
sure does sound fun for the young, which doesnt include me

You're a spring chicken.

I have an advantage many don't; 50+ acres of nothing behind me, except a big bulldozed brush pile the property owner pushed up on the line between us so I can't see if any of his deer are headed my way....he's a prince of a fellow. That brush pile makes a great coon depository.
Brush pile would help vultures find them.
I don't like throwing that good meat away. I feed them back to the chickens.

My mom absolutely hates them and I swear u turn her loose in a yard with dandelions she will literally dig up everyone! She has NONE in her yard! She's OCD about her yard
Lots of people are OCD about they're 'lawns'.
A pretty lawn is nice but that monoculture isn't good for anything but looks and yard games.

I guess I'm more a beer type when I do drink. I made some hard apple Cider that turned out more wine like more dry, spice flavor is good but it's too dry and too strong for me.
Beer's my drink but I enjoy a good wine. Never been too fond of hard liquor but I have had stints many years ago of vodka martinis. A marguerite with Mexican food is good or sake with Japanese food.

I could go the rest of my life without hard liquor though.

@ChickenCanoe

Would you ( or anyone else) happen to know happen to know the formula for determining the length of the angled sides of a roof truss 10' long x 4' high, with a 6" overhang on either side?

Fixing to make another Lowes material run, soon as I can figure out how much of what length I need.
Sorry I haven't been online since early yesterday. Looks like you found your answer.

Only Humans can be evil! Animals can't they just acting there natural nature!
Yes they will hunt and kill anthing they can.
In Israel they are protect buy law and you can't harm them! They are excellent rodent exterminators!
Don't you have snakes?
Shalom Benny. So an animal that kills just for the joy of killing is not evil?
Like mink and weasels?

Good morning
No
The "joy of killing" is based on a very primordial instinct of getting and accumulation of food as muchas as it possible for future time, so there is a utilitarian reason to that behavior. Only Humans kill for no realy beneficial reasons.
house cats
Mink will kill every animal in a building, drink a little blood, eat nothing and don't come back once the prey are all dead.

I have seen them kill, play with it, not eat any of it and then never come back to it.
The University of Minnesota study that fashioned kitty cams in a study showed lots of wanton killing.

Only class I ever failed in high school was geometry.
I got an A first semester of geometry, a D 3rd quarter and an F 4th quarter. It wasn't the angles that gave me problems, it was hypotheses and theorems.
I was thinking, "what do you mean, you think this is a fact"?

No the bear that does that isn't evil, it is surviving. I'm just trying to get you to admit that cats are evil

I'll admit that people that allow invasive species like house cats to run amok are unenlightened to the damage they do to native species.

Same goes for those that release invasive snakes into the wilds of Florida or allowing feral hogs to escape.

You must be a tad smarter than the average bear! Somehow, I managed not to fail any classes (pulled A's & B's in English & Phys . Ed. But barely D's in any math classes). I squeaked through Algebra 1 & Geometry, somehow. by 10th grade. I went to the teacher after Algebra & asked her which math class I should take next. She told me that given my history in math, & since I had enough math credits to graduate with an academic diploma, (as opposed to a general), I shouldn't take any further math, so I didn't.
I wanted to test out of College Algebra so was taking a short refresher course. The tutor was amazed I wanted to study algebra when I already had a job in robotics.

This has been an ongoing discussion here that comes up every once in awhile, everyone has their opinion, I love cats but if there was a problem it would be resolved
I love cats too, indoors.

Is that 'The Brick'?

Anyone know what animal left me this, I kept thinking it was our overly fat squirrel but this is the size of cat poop, usually they are an inch to 1.5" long

Raccoon likely. Can you identify any of the undigested ingredients?

Biggest problem with cats is the negative effect they have on animal populations in the world. We have leash laws for dogs in most places, even if there is no leash law, still illegal to let your dog run wild. I believe everywhere here requires dog licensing. Neither of these for cats, free to do what they want.
"A University of Nebraska study from 2010 states that cats have been responsible for the extinction of 33 bird species worldwide.
“If we extrapolate the results of this study across the country and include feral cats, we find that cats are likely killing more than 4 billion animals per year, including at least 500 million birds. Cat predation is one of the reasons why one in three American bird species are in decline,” said Dr. George Fenwick, President of American Bird Conservancy."

Cats are threatening to make extinct the Piping Plover on Long Island right now.
Thanks for posting.
Responsible for more bird extinctions worldwide than any other man made cause. Especially on islands.

we wone!!
Congratulations!!
I still remember the date of the Israeli weight lifting massacre. It was the same day I went into the army.

Only the match....ouer judoka passed to the semifinal.
We dont have the number of Olympic medals as the US ( if I think about it only mikel felps have 4 times Olympic medals than Israel in all its history!

) so any chance of an Olympic medal makes every one here go crazy!
We had 20 locals go into the Olympics this year. I think 18 are still in it.
Most are track and field and swimmers, a rower and a lady on the women's soccer team.
One of the men's volleyballers went to high school with my son. One of the steeplechase women went to school with my daughter.

...
is this really a way to sex them?
Not really.
