What would y'all think about just doing a funny random post contest w/o a HAL? The threads created are totally priceless. I'm reading back through the past funny post threads and nearly busting ribs here...... And since all the prizes got awarded, they're all dead. I need my daily dose of funny!! LOL

I bought a cradle for the Brinsea last month so it's getting a constant turn.

Yeah..... 21 mutt eggs on day 12. All live last I checked.

This thread has been so helpful!! I have hatched one egg without an incubator (using just a heat lamp and lots of prayers, lol), but this time I have an incubator. I am pretty excited! I have one egg right now that has started moving and chirping, but no pips, yet. I have the air sac marked, and it looked a bit low, so I upped the humidity some. Was kinda worried about making it too high sin e I have other eggs in there that look like they may hatch, but not as far along. But, this one is special as I have lost the hen that it came from...my EE.

Thank you for taking a look at my message.

I'm looking to purchase a new incubator. I just had a couple of questions in regards to some of the incubators I've been looking at: -How should the eggs sit in the incubator? (vertical or horizontal) -How much should the eggs turn, is rocking back and forth once every 2 hours enough? -We are after a larger incubator (24 eggs) do you have any suggestions of incubators that aren't too expensive (around the $100-$200 mark)? Eggs sit upright in the one I was looking a buy below.

That's the Chinese knockoff version of the Janoel 48. I bought one to use as a hatcher and wold not recommend anyone use it to incubate eggs because it's way to hard to maintain a steady temp and humidity. I also have a a brand name Janoel 48, and it's a little better, but I still wouldn't recommend it.

Not my point.

Flipping the breaker (if you have breakers) is easy and could save you from pain, injury, or possibly death. 

The least that can happen you'll destroy a valuable tool the wosre that can happen you won't be able to use any tool again......ever.

While showing a customer a new home I almost flipped the AC breaker back on at the box. It was hot out AC breaker should be on at this point and I'm to be the only one at the house with the customer. I decided to leave it off and continued. Good thing as the repair man was knee deep in wires with the secondary breaker right at his finger tips still engaged. I told him that he was lucky I didn't turn the power on. He made some smart response to which I responded as nicely as I could with a customer there that he was an idiot and to disengage the secondary breaker. My guess dead electrician.

Good morning folks.....sorry I'm not on much right now.....grandson and son visiting.
Hope everyone is good....I'm trying to get through some rough patches with my asthma....but after a few days of increased prednisone I'm back breathing at least ok.
Our summers are around here so I'm busy....but winter is coming I'll be able to keep up here a bit better.
