You get what you pay for. Or build it yourself.I completely understand the toolmaker father thing. Nothing wrong with your career path. Many of my friends are toolmakers. It's definitely a unique bunch that go in any trade I am learning. Growing up in thought it was just the toolroom frame of mind. Well at my plants, being off plumb goes with the trades. Great group of people but wow the humor! May need to see if I can get an Electrician to come over ASAP! Our ac unit keeps tripping the breaker.I couldn't have picked any trade but Toolmaker without fear of being disowned by my 74 yr old Toolmaker Dad. I will be 4th generation machinist once I graduate. I grew up thinking the smell of cutting oil is a normal thing. I can't reply to that! Going to behave and keep quiet! Lololol! Sorry my reply is buried up above. I went Toolmaker Apprentice. Many other countries have less stringent electrical regulations than here. National Electric Code is a good guideline. Every electrical accident and fire gets investigated and results are codified in the Code. In Costa Rica, most people don't use hot water heaters. They have a unit mounted on the shower head that heats water as it passes through. Every one I saw had unprotected power running to it. The good ones had wire nuts on the connections. My extra tall coworker from New Zealand got shocked with almost every shower when his head hit the shower head. I borrowed an angle grinder and extension cord with a duplex receptacle on the end from the estranged husband of my landlady who was a building contractor. They were so dangerous with frayed wires, I had to repair them before I'd use them. I put new plugs and receptacles on them and made them safe. I thought the guy would be thankful. I don't think he really understood or cared.yayyy babies! Many helpful helpers lol scary, I grew up in a very old house, many outlet and switches had no covers, my worst was trying to turn on a light switch, and missing the switch and sticking my fingers behind the switch, and getting stuck there Ow Lol She is great with poop!!! great!! And happy birthday!! have fun with the grandson!!!![]()
