No. I know it's what they do but it's disturbing.

I have a rooster in "jail", "cause that's all he want to do. He's old now, maybe 9 or 10, so I hate to sell him for 'cause he's sort of a pet.

Too much of a pet to be food? Probably too old to be a breeder.
