After a million internet problems, I am told this will be the last time I have an issue. The guy was over an hour late (it is Sunday. Who schedules appointments on Sunday? Especially during church hours?) and not friendly enough to say hi or give his name. I hope he just had a bad morning, and isn't always so thoughtless. No, I don't "hope" he had a bad morning.
Turns out it was just that Dish had no activated the right receiver. It took him almost two hours to get that straightened out.
Meanwhile, the extra drakes are gone... We think!

Turns out I am not as stupid as I thought! I caught what I thought was the male (Banti) but sounds like a girl according to logic. However, sounds like a boy according to the father. Woman shows up, and had the same problem. Fortunately, the Pekin gets to live. Whoever gets an egg (or mating Pekin) first, will tell the other.
Now I can (hopefully) get the coop really clean tomorrow. You guys are all saying how hot it is. With the heat index it is 95* here. I may go back out (with limited free time, and so much to do, I will try!) to start cleaning. The idea is to hose it out in the morning, scrub it, and let it take all day to dry. It really needs a good scrubbing!
Why am I so worried about winter already?

Because it will be here soon enough, and it is so much easier if you are prepared. ;)
