Wow, he is gorgeous!! I got two Doms (10 weeks now) from Ideal, but they aren't looking that good - I don't mean they're not healthy, but I have a feeling they aren't going to be what I was hoping. So, hopefully, I'll have room for a couple from that place ...

I've got 4 Dom cockerels. Stewart, Pickles, Dom Pablo and Nick Fury. The last three all came from that place.
Cackle hatchery is supposed to have fairly decent Dominiques.

I just checked it out, and they do look pretty good. I almost ordered from them instead of Ideal (I should have

) but didn't for some reason. Either the shipping was outrageous or the minimum # of chicks was too high.

Yes it should be. However many are used for medicine, food source, souvenirs etc. Wikipedia has quite an article on them

Curious - what's your "hand washing" technique? 

Wash hands with warm water and soap. Don't touch poop and then touch your face or mouth. Don't eat at the farm. Don't share food/drinks with your birds. Don't lick their feet.

But I'm guilty of a few of those...

Thoughts for worming a multi aged flock. We found round worms when butchering a couple of our Bielefelder roosters, if they have them, I'm sure the whole flock does.
I have Pig Swig (Piperazine(Wazine) which is a liquid added to water, or I have Rooster Booster multi-wormer triple action (Hygromycin B in a feed concentrate and vitamin supplement) which you add to feed.
Which products have you used and had success with?

I came thiiiiis close to getting some of these eggs to hatch, but I'm already getting more chickens (adults) in a few days, so nevermind. Aren't they cute?!!!!

Yep it was all almost recycled except chicken wire. Rest we had laying around mangled with weeds from where we had a few cows before. Got metal for roof from a build my dad did... I'm eggcited
