Well, at least I know my temps/humidtiy were good enough to make it grow right.. so now if I take some eggs from someone, I won't feel like I'll just kill whatever eggs I get to try in the future!

You totally should grow some babies. They are fun.

Maybe I should wait until the broodies are done with the current babies.

I live on a dead end Lane. Someone came looking or saw it going to the one house past mine. They cut the chain loaded it and left and so far no one noticed. With half of the lane night shift you have to wonder how it was missed. They do not appear to have taken anything else. Good new John Deere. Only started it one time last spring to learn how.

yes what brand!! I need doors for my one existing coop and the new one I just ordered! Right now I just open the one side of the shed door-I ended up using 8x12 wood sheds as coops and the first one is great so far!!!

I have two battery ones that work well. The Chicken Gaurd and a DawntillDusk. They both open and shut well. The DTD has a great door you can order to use with either. If you can afford the Chicken Gaurd, it has some features that make it very easy to set and adjust and open/close manually with just a button press. Both of mine are the mid range ones that can operate on a set time or by solar sensor so I can decide. Automatic doors are a big relief.
