I should have gotten a pic of the embryo with its feet against the side of the shell.... That was SO cool.

These are the kind of pics my daughter wanted, but I couldn't figure out how to do it with the last batch of eggs!

Maybe the next one I'll heve better luck.

Have you ever used one of those flash lights designed for the eggs? Amazon has them for like 19 bucks with free shipping. I just wasn't sure if they were worth, 20 bucks. LOL Or, if they worked the way they promise.

I use https://www.backyardchickens.com/pr...-candler-tester-incubator-warehouse-exclusive and it was worth every penny.

Nope. I use an LED headlamp I bought at Walmart with a piece of foam insulation taped to the front of it.
