Quote: Realy nothing! It have its very distinct flavor! Because of that some love and other don't!
It is extremely rich in vitamins. Especially C, A.
And it is rich also in likophen especially the breeb with the red inside.
Looks like it's related to watermelon, tomato, and black walnut with the husk still on.

Morning (almost afternoon here!) everyone!

I have been so busy at work, and stewing over something I have no control over. I guess it has made me more productive to be angry. LOL.

I had lunch with my daughter at her school yesterday and the 2nd grade teacher came over and asked me (not so quietly) if I am willing to hatch chicks for the 2nd grade class again this year. (I have done it the last couple years, even though my daughter is not in the class.) Of course, I had to say yes, on the spot, in front of all those eager little faces.

My only problem is this is a NEW teacher and she has no experience, I had the other teacher trained pretty good on what to do when I wasn't available to check on them, etc.

Anyway, will be exciting! Won't be until the spring, but now it's on my calendar to look forward to. :D AND, it will give me a chance to hatch some of my own eggs again since my roosters will be mature by then for sure.

@Akrnaf2It looks yummy. I have only ever had the white in a can of tropical fruit. I really liked it so I would love to try the red if it is better.

Good afternoon Heather. Should give you the opportunity to train the new teacher as well. When will you be hatching them?

@kwhites634I wish I could help, but as I have only used wire cutters and snips aivcan only hope with you that someone has had a better idea.
