Evening ppls... Just opened one of my shipped eggs today... Coronation Sussex... Look at these!

Nicest eggs I've received yet, I think. They look fake almost. Very heavy eggs, hope that's a good thing...

So, paid for 6, got 10, two behemoths... The average size egg is at the top of the picture... The extra large eggs...could they pose an issue when it comes to incubating them? I'm not sure my turner will be able to handle this set (smoothly)

Tim, see if you can find a cooler large enough to add a turner, if you head to work and cant turn much.  I think dimensions for turners are online, or just ask someone and maybe they can give you actual measurement if you dont have a turner.    if you cant find a big enough cheap cooler, try building a box and insulate with really thick styro sheets and that silver alum type ductwork tape to line the inside.  it would work just as well, as long as you get some nice thick board insulation!  @timperkins

Thanks I appreciate any suggestions!

Had a similar experience on the farm I worked on as a kid. Steer got his head stuck in an empty feeder ended up on the pond and broke thru the ice.

Hey runt325 they're messing with you! Mostly kwhites634.... He lives in MD which is Maryland,USA.,the continent of North America-on eastern time zone. Isreal is on another continent. Which is Asia. That's why the big difference in time. (Kwhites634- "a few miles from here" is a trucker term! Were you once or still now?

He also said he "couldn't hear you" because you accidentally said you weren't being "noisy" (too loud) instead of "nosey". (Butting in someone's business)
These old timers catch on quick and love some dry humor! Try not to step in the BS around here darling. :)

God bless,
Glory

Again,I wish you much luck ridding your coop of predators.

I've got an issue in one of the chicken eggs. It looks like it's only 3/4 full and today is day 19. The empty part is about an inch wide and goes from aircell to the point of the egg. I've never seen anything like it.

Local egg, from a girl across the highway. I was suspecting flock health/nutrition as a culprit already. Set upright and tilted several times a day, because that's what I was doing for everyone else. Embryo is still kicking. The other one looks great. The cochins have extra thick shells I guess and still look like day 14 AC. I've been running about 25% humidity except for those two days it was 30-45%. Temp has been steadyish, 101.5-102 except for that big 105.6 spike and a couple 103s.

Also, I'm not convinced the cam is right on the duck eggs. Looks awfully empty down there. They are also day 19.
When I hatched my cochin egg, I was under the impression to run around 40% humidity until lock down, then 75%

I read that my silkies needed the same thing, slightly higher humidity.
