Awwwwwww they sound amazingYou could get a Carolina!
We had one dropped off last year, new favorite dog breed!
Common breed points: highly intelligent and eager to please, aka very trainable, very athletic can learn complex commands and has been taking the show dog world by storm, and has been know to kust "pick things up" to learn to please the master, not a herding dog, great mouse/rat/mole hunter, medium sized dog, great with kids, Extremely loyal and often standoffish to other people or even dogs, but not likely to fight or bite. Is quiet most of the time, but has a "big dog bark" when it hears a threat (our little 30lb girl chased off a coyote pack from the porch). They are known for digging "nose holes" around the yard though, nasty ankle twisters, so beware!
Can be very protective of the masters things, including easily learning the difference between prey to hunt and prey to keep. Ours wanted to eat the chickens at first, but after a very brief period of firm training she now ignores them, even when they decide to sit on her, but gives us the most long suffering looks when they drink her water!View attachment 4266616View attachment 4266617View attachment 4266618
