It's a tough world out there

I got it pretty good as a child, in more ways than one. My stepdad was awful. Beat my mom to a pulp many a time too.

Me, I did the smack the little hand on my first child, then tried it on myself. That hurt! So, my kids got the grounding thing. Worked pretty good I guess. They all turned out to be decent human beings..if I say so myself.

Hmm, not so funny....my mom did wear heels..high heels. Got smacked in the head one morning, probably for talking back. Man, ask me if the head bleeds. I still have the scar.


On a happier note..sort of...my Rooster finally started crowing today.! Ha..remember me asking if they could fertilize a hen if they hadn't started crowing? Then I found out they could by cracking an egg open. Well, he's decided, it's time to sound like a man!
