I have a question.
My broodie tossed this egg the other day and I have felt weird about looking inside. But I did today No smell, and I am wondering if I had put it back if it would have been ok?
I was told Broodies only discard bad or dead eggs? is this true?

Here is what I found inside.

This is the first time I have let a Broodie Brood.

my horses live wild and have never been rode or trained other than halter . rocks a plenty good water and hundreds of thick trees hooves look fine fat and slick and happy good hay in winter and some grain when needed . all horses should be that happy .

now cut a hole in a 5 gal bucket and hang the bucket and cut that pipe down and put that comin out the bottom then you wont spill it

Next time, candle the egg after sniffing, if you are not sure put it back. Its not your fault, sometimes hens arent the brightest critters tj
