I feel exactly the same way. I think it may be because most of the people whom I have met and chatted with followed the rule on the first page about being respectful. Venymae started a new thread that I checked out the other day, and there were some pretty rude comments thrown her way, made me feel kinda bad for her after my experiences on this thread.

Yes, lots of folks use the big plastic totes. Frankly I use cardboard boxes, but I don't recommend it! Haha

Totes work great for brooding... just make sure heat lamp is secured and not too close to the plastic...

She came a little early. Day 21 is tomorrow night at 8. I came in and heard chirping. It took a minute but I found her (I hope) upside down in a auto turning cup. My mom informed me that that does indeed come out. Thanks mom. She's doing ok it seems. What I thought was a yolk sac has been further observed. It is actually an umbilical cord. I can hear another little egg chirping. I wish id seen it hatch, my first chick ever!
