So I candled today ton day 18. I have 7 that I think have a good chance at hatching, 3 maybes and 4 others that were just hard to tell because if they died it was later in incubation. So I'm on lockdown now! Want just one little chick

I'm hoping that all of them hatch! You deserve to go insane with chicks!! seriously! After waiting all this time for the eggs to hatch, I think it should be a law that all of them do!

I agree. But, then I might be truly overrun with chickens

A majority of my eggs had aircell growth, while some had none at all. Is that a good indication that they died?

The psycho dog (mine) is okay this morning. He's still a little loopy from the anesthesia. He was okay with me putting cream in his eye. And I was glad he was willing to eat cheese. He's supposed to chew a pain pill. He doesn't want to, so hopefully he's getting some relief from swallowing it instead.
No accidents in the house. That is always good! And no vomiting.

Thanks, I am. Just a little tired. Had some roosters crowing throughout the night that kept me up some. That really can't be good for their health.

I heard ours as well, I think it is the warmth that has them all fahoodled

I had 2 different local feed stores selling baby chicks 2 weeks ago.  I don't know if that is typical everywhere.

No feed store around here sells any this time of year :/ however Christmas is doing well today. Not so distressed. I'm glad. I think we will name him Christmas since he hatched then. Really creative I know lol

Good morning, hatchaholics!
I spent last night at the emergency vet. My suster's dog bit mine in the eye. Purely accidental. But eight years ago her last dog bit my last dog in the eye. That dog had an idiot for a vet and went blind. This time around I know that won't be happening.

I'm behind..how is the sweetheart doing this morning? Maybe you already posted..may not see it..I am one to..skip to my Lou...posts.
