No it wont work because the ants will be able to get on the cable at the end were the cable exits the water.........

That end should be near where you have the incubator on feet. You stop the trail the power cord should not touch the bowl as well.

It wouuld be tricky. YOu could also use some tangle foot on the power cord. Its used on fruit trees to keep them from being innundated by ants.

Some people feed dog or cat food to their chickens to boost the protien of an iffy feed. You can also use Catfish chow... my Guineas werent allowed to free range and since Guinea fowl are heavy buggers I gave them a five to one ratio flock raiser and Catfish. One scoop catfish mixed in with five scoops of feed.

I would scatter some for the chickens too. It looks like pelleted chicken feed. so they couldnt pick it out they all loved it.

look at this cool idea I saw on Reddit!
Awesome idea Aquarium pump bubbles up the water in the container excess air gets pushed into the exit tube complete with the high moisture air. Surface area is created by the bubbles.

I may do this when I crank up my 1588. The water reserviors are soo hard to see if they are full or not. A big design flaw... that and the styrofoam...

So sorry all that I've been MIA been quite the weekend around here not to mention last week. Well firstly @Cynthia I am so sorry for your loss and sending hugs and prayers your way.

Secondly @Sally Sunshine thank you for asking about my little ones that had cocci. I do believe the three are out of the woods although they're main diet still consists of moistened crumbles I don't care because they're alive and eating and they need to regain the weight they lost. I'll deal with switching them back later.

And thirdly also @Sally Sunshine you don't know it as I hadn't joined BYC yet and was just a lurker but I too owe you a thank you. For your hatching 101 article and more importantly your assisted hatch article. My first hatch was silkies and three bonus bantam eggs. Well your article saved one of those bonus bantam eggs. I had quite a few problems with sticky chick as I hadn't calibrated and I was following the manual. Well I'm happy to say that of three eggs that needed help(one was already gone when I realized it) I managed to save one of them. The third died for unknown causes half way through the assist it was ready to hatch and there was no blood.

Little Crocket spent her first 36 hours in a padded country crock dish BC the other chicks were a little too curious. She is a self blue oegb and positively a puppy dog. She also layed her first egg last week.

So thank you thank you thank you a million times over. I couldn't have done it without that article. Thank you for all you do.

Also a few pages back I forget who posted it but the beautiful gray egg ohmigosh! I'm in love and I want it. Please post pics of the hen that layed it.

That gray egg was laid by gimmie birdies current avatar... :)

veny what is your humidity at with that running? you can use a adjuster screw (plastic) for the aquarium to adjust it right?
