The price discussed was for the Eco 20 Advanced. There's and Eco 40, which holds more eggs and is a good bit higher, and there's Ova-Easy cabinets for the serious hatchers... which will make a banker cry...

The 20 with the addition of the humidity pump, shipped was just under $575 but I have lost enough expensive eggs to take the leap. At least I hope to have some peace of mind after setting eggs... I am hatching Legbars, Araucanas and Marans.

I can understand. . When your paying for expensive eggs.. sometimes it pays to get the best.

Sally cooler Bater works.. I think it's manual turn...i just want to make mine auto turn..
I've looked at her cooler bator several times, just to get some ideas for future plans. It looks like it has worked out good for her. I think the only thing that would improve it would be electronic controls. It's still in the early stages, but I'm really loving the stability of this digital thermometer with proportional heating. Since I fired it up this morning, the temp has only fluctuated .4F (+2 and -2), and it went low or high for merely a few seconds. While my wife was cooking supper in the next room, which heated the house a few degrees and raised the humidity a good bit, the temp in the bator never raised above .2F. I know... I'm getting a little too excited about this gizmo. I'll know much better how it performs in another 19 days or so.
