Update on the lice issue:
My poor roo who had the severe case and then got better, got them back!! It was lice they all jumped onto him! I bathed him in lice shampoo for dogs, cats, and horses. They all fell right off!! There was only a few eggs I had to scrub off. Everyone will get a bath in that shampoo to kill all the eggs leftover, then I will apply the paste stuff I got to keep them away!

In all seriousness, how do you scrub a chicken without breaking feathers off by going "against the grain"?

It is not fun. But, I think this roo spread it to my flock. So, once his are under control it will be easier to get rid of them.
