Can someone help provide me an answer. I had a chick hatch that has a larger than normal head and it's feet are not under it right. It seems top heavy. Any help would be appreciated.

@Sally Sunshine you up yet?

Intothebuff, did it hatch normally?

I'm sure you could rig up a coop door that you could open from your house, with enough baling twine, nails, and duct tape!

Nah... gotta use heavy wire for something like that. I over-build my pop door (imagine that) and it weighs about 20 lbs.

I slept from 4:30 to 8. I don't sleep much. Once on a while I go into a coma though.
Okay, just wanted to make sure I wasn't talking to a zombie or something...

Try to cut back on the comas, please.

I got a call from my aunt and she said one hatches around 530 this morning....just unsure of which... one of the AC or the AC Fibro???
I saw that on the other thread... and replied to it. I said I hope you're not texting and driving! If you're on your way, exactly how are you posting here???

I can't tell in the pic, but could the chick be stargazing? some info: http://www.chickenforum.com/Treatment-Options-for-Stargazing.html

For the legs, you might want to hobble, and put in a cup to keep up right, maybe try giving it drops of electrolytes. If you are still hatching and open the incubator, be quick, I usually also throw in a warm, wet paper towel to keep humidity up.

Good morning and happy new year to all!
Just caught up on the almost 400 posts I missed last night!
Now for some breakfast!
Oh, update....
One hatched out of my six remaining Hal eggs this morning. No pips on the rest yet, and page won't let me load pics right now? What's up with that?
Will try to post again in a bit.
Congrats Ur on the 'lucky' hatch ! Buy a lottery ticket lately?
