HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And good morning!!! Congrats to everyone that has new babies this morning!!!

I had to get some sleep, but woke up at 1am to find 3 fresh, wet chicks and another completely zipped. I have 4 of 7 on the deck right now, and the last 3 eggs have good pips. Hoping they all hatch, and all today!

I accomplished my goal... I set 7 eggs for the NYD HAL on Dec. 12, and this morning is Jan. 1... and all 7 chicks hatched! 100%!!!

Uhm... I mean I got lucky.

I haven't been up all night, Phil. I went to bed around 8 pm yesterday. I had to get up at 1 am, leave the house before 2am, and drive for an hour to pick up my step-son when he got off work. Drove an hour back, and crawled back into bed at 4:15. Got 3 1/2 hours more sleep, and here I am!

I have to get up this time of morning every day to open the pop door on the chicken coop. Can't afford one of those fancy automatic electric doors...

My question is, are you still up???

I'm sure you could rig up a coop door that you could open from your house, with enough baling twine, nails, and duct tape!

I slept from 4:30 to 8. I don't sleep much. Once on a while I go into a coma though.

Can someone help provide me an answer. I had a chick hatch that has a larger than normal head and it's feet are not under it right. It seems top heavy. Any help would be appreciated.

Yaya!!!!!! :yiipchick. I got a call from my aunt and she said one hatches around 530 this morning....just unsure of which... one of the AC or the AC Fibro???
