Awwww but just a baby.....Thanks Whites!![]()
After working as a busboy for two years in h.s. and seeing what goes on in the kitchen, I have no burning desire to eat out.
Agree.I'm betting a hawk got your pullet. I lost a pup like that once. Another possibility is a coon, but not likely; they're nocturnal...not often active in daylight. I'd be covering the run with 1x2 welded wire ASAP; Lowes, Home Depot, and TSC all carry it.
Not surprised the remaining birds are not stressed. I think, though I may be wrong, that chickens, like dogs, don't have particularly long retention spans. I've found predator-killed hens in my first run, and the other birds acting totally normal.
Yeah...I was gonna mention that, but didn't want to hurt the kid's feelingsAwwww but just a baby.....

My grampa owned a farm but I was an army brat and didnt live in the states til I was 15. Have to say, I love my american take out.I could only imagine. I grew up on home cooked meals from the farm. Fortunately, my wife still does the same. We are lucky enough that we are self employed. That means I go start chores, come in for breakfast, out to work, come in for lunch, out to work and come in for dinner. Very seldom do I catch a burger elsewhere.
