Well, I would be impressed by that if it were in my yard! But, I really can't complain, after the last 2 winters. I was just realizing that, when I let my flock out, they are still able to find green grass. Totally unbelieveable! I have some grains set aside to sprout for them, but won't bother as long as they have grass available!

My BIL's brother lives up there, near Portland I believe. Said last week they've not had enough snow to cover the grass yet.

We call anything South of Augusta... the other Maine! Totally different state in terms of weather, economics, population density.
