They are a barnyard mix. Probably get a 100% hatch because I don't care

@Sally Sunshine referring to post http://#31779, can you please give me direction for what I'm looking for with detached air cells, please? Papas all came beautifully packed and not a crack. The CT eggs came packed in paper with 5 broken...

I think what your looking for is in the first post when sally started the thread throughout she has posted info pages . but air cells should be where they are normally .in the top of the egg and should be of the right size for the age of the egg . they should not move or be odd shaped or separated. if you see any of these you have trouble rest the eggs at least twenty four hours before setting them .

Had a roo with the same temperament. Could not go into cage with out a piece of pvc pipe he'd attack I'd whack. He'd lay down and be nice I would feed then leave. Next feeding same procedure this went on till I got some chicks from him as I did like him. His offspring Roos would let me pet them. Oh and the one time he spurred me on the back I also squeezed his neck till eyes rolled. Probably should have done him in after the first attack.
Mine tried that a few times, but he was sneaky about it; til I saw him just in time once & drop kicked his butt about 3' through the air...no more problem...gives me plenty of room now

Wished mine did. Good sized English Blue Orpington. I know they are supposed to be real nice birds. He never leaned even after the boot and the wall.
