Haven't the time to do a readback just yet, so I'll just jump in at the end of the thread. Here you go whites... these are some pics of the finished brooder. I think I'll be adding some rails along the bottom of the nursery to cut down on the shavings that are being scratched out.

6* F , it's supposed to start warming a bit today.

Morning. We must be fairly close together cause it's 5* at my house but the gentle breeze makes it feel like -10*. I guess you could call a high of 20* warming up a bit.

it was nice, and hilarious seeing them cut the cake and kiss when everyone made them too, Mom couldnt kiss him she was laughing so bad, it was a good time.

It only got into the low teens overnight. 6F the night before and single digits tonight. However, 2-4 inches of snow coming this evening and cold enough in the short term it will be around a while.
Off to get a couple bales of straw so birds can come out onto the snow.
