it is 47 degrees here.right now. tonight it will be below freezing here in louisiana
CH did you get my eggs? candle????
So I'm pretty sure the eggs were fried last night. Temperature was at 110 and I don't know for how long. I have 1 on day 22 and 1 on day 18. How long should I give each one? They both showed no movement when candled. The veins in the day 22 egg are gone and the veins in the day 18 egg are faint. The day 18 egg is from a bantam hen though.
What is the maximum and minimum range of temp I can go before killing the chicks? post #12473
see this post, you should have tried to cool them down right away. I would candle later tonight and check for life. ,
so sorry this happened, perhaps you can wrap the bator better or put it inside a large cardboad box to keep temps more stable?
