Well my early pipper is progressing. She's not exactly following protocol. She pipped early, pipped high in the air cell and her zipping seems to be going down the egg towards my 'X' and not around the egg. She's very vocal this morning.
I forgot to mention that I have quite a bit of condensation on the windows. Will it hurt her if I quickly open and wipe them dry?

Duck update:
Bug and Boo 2 are doing wonderfully. Boo 2 didn't take a poop until day 2. She kept doing the backing up thing but nothing. There was no pasty butt. But, I put her in some warm water to see if that would move things. About an hour later it did.
So, they hatched on day 26. 8 eggs remain in the bator and 2 external pips today, day 28 late this PM. I freaked on the below guy because it was doing nothing after several hours. I got blood and stopped. He's just sitting there now, definitely not ready to come out. Probably scared of what I will do next. I'm going to leave town and let nature do it's thing, lol. This is agony.
Arrow pointing to the blood and the circle is his toe.
6 eggs with nothing going on.

I'm concerned with number 3 and spraddle leg. He was on the grided incubator floor and then onto paper so I'm not sure why his legs are so far apart. Can they come out of the egg with spraddle leg?[/B]

Every incubator is different, but with mine I fell it up and it will go to around 36% to 41%. Depending on how it is outside. Then I let mine run dry. Takes about 2 days. It will drop to 17%. Then that morning fill it back up. So its about a 2 days cycle. I never candle any more until I take them out on the 18th day and then they go to the hatcher, which runs between 65% to 75%. They go in there on Thursday. They come out on Mondays. What ever dont hatch, just dont hatch. Which usually is 1 to 2 eggs depending how many I have in there.Okay thanks! I didn't have it very full last time. All I can do is try again!! I'm going to keep my humidity down towards 35% this time.
good luck
