@Sally Sunshine My update. 16 eggs in the incubator as a first test hatch from my flock: Russian Orloffs and Half-Orloffs. Initial humidity 38%, will candle and adjust on Sunday. Hatch is due on 2/14 - Valentine's Day. Four were pulled from the fridge and will be a day later, if they are good.

Doing great! Almost finished with my incubator and am wondering about the best sealer to use for it.

Thompson's Water Seal is good for decks & such, but I'd contact the manufacturer, tell them your application, and determine if it would be safe for use around eggs & chicks.

  lets see if she has input on this.....    I havent a clue!  there is another gentleman on my cabinet cooler thread that makes cool ones, let me see if I can find him for you to message about it.

I was going to suggest thompson's. good product low to no VOC's and it is not an oil based product. that's what i was planning on using on the interior of my cabinet.
