I know, I am having no problems with it... YET.
:gig
I did, but I was told otherwise on my thread and I was told I should leave some room so a temp spike would not kill them since I am using a styro.
I am using a probe to see what the internal temp of an egg would be, but I won't put too much stock in it as it is an old probe and I don't know if I did it right....
If your bator is setup correctly you shouldnt have to plan for it to screw up. I would get the temp in the 101-102 range on top of the eggs, make sure it stays there and go for it. Could also add some stuff to act like a heat sink so you dont lose temp when opened.

Would bleached rocks work?

Sorta... I am getting mixed advice on the temp to run, and I don't know what to do since the LG is still air. I put in a probe thermo I had lying around (after testing it and finding it was 5 degrees off!

Under 102 I believe is the general consensus. Does Sally's Hatching 101 not address that?

Just picked up my blue/golden phoenix eggs I bought. First time getting shipped eggs

So questions for everyone.

How long should I wait to put them in the incubator?

When should I put the autoturner on?

Do they stay at the same temp as all eggs incubating and if so what temp do you think?

Thanks everyone in advance for suggestions

Yes......
Yeh
I know there's not as much headroom in there as a hovabator
You could use little Tupperware containers like fer sauce, filled with

Not sauce :lau

You can snap the top on in case it tips

Or could I put em in the bottom, under the wire, just not in the wells?
